How to Achieve White, Silver Hair from Black hair

How to Achieve White, Silver Hair from Black hair

.
me with my real eyes... >_<

So, I wanna talk about Hair. My white, silver hair. I am asian and was born with hard to reach blonde, BLACK hair. Its tough but if I did it, You can do it. But there are some things you have to sacarfice.
  1. Your hair wil get brittle.
  2. Your hair will break off.
  3. Your hair will need lots of products, which means money.
  4. Its alots of upkeep, every 3 weeks you will need to do a root touch up. so if your lazy to go see a hairstylist or lazy to do it ur own self, you will be stuck with your ugly roots that everyone sees and will let you know, Hey, I see your roots. or just stuck with a girl that gives off lazy apperances.
  5. You will have Thin hair.isnt this like every girls nightmare? Thin hair means limp stringy hair. no boys like that. you want a full vavavaaaboom hair, with bounce.
So, now that I have covered some down lows for being blonde... lets get started.
You will need
  • Hair bleach. I recommend Provana powder lighner, Wella Blondore powder
  •  bleach or Redken Hair lighner. whichever one of these you can find, will do the job. most of beauty stores has these products. Theyre prices run in different ranges depends what sizes you get. usually lilttle packets start from 2.99.

  • Color Developer. I usually use 40 volume but to make sure Your hair doesnt get fried, I recommend Volume 30. its better to play it safe than use volume 20 and your hair wont pull anything.
  • Hair Toner. you will need to put lots of ash tone on your hair in order to achieve this silver, white hair look. I believe sallys dont carry it but any other beauty stores has them and just ask for a purple or silver toner. whichever will do the job.

  • Hair Foils. This depends if you want highlights you will need this. if you want full head blonde, you probably wont need it.

  • Hair color brush and Protective gloves. and a bowl to mix it in.

  • Old raggedy shirt that you dont care.

  • A Plastic Hair Wrap

  • Hair clips so you can section your hair.

ok...now that you have all these items, lets start the process.
  1.  First, part your hair in 4 sections. down to middle, side to side. its like having a four pigtails.
  2. start mixing your bleach together in 1:1 ratio. mix them until smooth.
  3. start from the back of your head, down to up. you need to apply the bleach every quarter inches of your hair. using your rat tail comb, keep on slicing and keep on going up as you saturate your hair with bleach.
  4. now that youve done with one side, do the other side. remember you have to brush your hair before saturating your hair with bleach. this is for line of demarcation. if you dont saturate them smoothly you will see the black spots in your hair. and that is ugly and horrifying. please do brush your hair.
  5. if you have to do your own hair, i suggest you do it in quick pace so you wont have blonde hair on the back and orange hair on the front. hair processes very quick, and you need to make sure every hair starnd is all pull through at the same time.
  6. make sure you put enough bleach on your hair lines. nothings more funnier than see your black or brown baby hairs. everything must be bleached.
  7. now that you are all covered in bleach, put on a wig cap. this will help your hair get some natural heat from your head which hurry up the process quicker.
  8. set a time. 30 mins to an hour. keep on checking. if your scalp is hurting, wash your hair right away. when your scalp is itching, it means your cuticles are open and irritated by the harsh chemicals. trust me, you dont want any hair falling out, and leave a bald spot.
  9. put any of your favorite hair treatment in for 10 to 15 mins.
  10. if your hair is orange then  that means you need to bleach again. it isnt very safe to rebleaching it right away after the first one, but ive done it many times and hey beauty hurts :-) suck it up
  11. I suggest you wait a day or two to tone your hair. mix your toner with 1:1 ratioa with cream developer. apply all over your head. wait 15 mins, you will see your hair turing silver and gray. :-)

so there you have it. Ive had silver hair for two years and hey, I love it. I stand out from a crowd and look what my boyfriend made me.

lol does it look like me? :-) I gotta say, thats pretty damn close.

if you have any question please leave me a line and I will get back to you. Till then...Good Luck!!!
